Sometimes we get what we ask for
sometimes we get just what we need
but everything that comes our way
is like a tiny learning seed
With Hope we search for the answers
and with Love we find a reason
while waiting ’till the time is ripe
to plant it in its proper season
So that the lesson we take to heart
is nurtured well within the soul
for sharing with our friends in need
and our children as we grow old
