Looked that up online – about Baudelaire and the quote on staying drunk:

I was pretty sure it was Baudelaire, but I often confuse him and Rimbaud in my memory. It’s kind of a nationalist prejudice maybe: I have the same challenge among the Spanish language poets Borges, Lorca, and the guy that wrote “The Captain’s Verses” whose name escapes me in the closing haze of exhaustion.
