The world in my heart
is a beautiful place
no age, time or death
no pain, only grace
The splendor of Life
laid out in full view
someday, my dear friend
I will share this with you
As our time comes around
we will join in the play
together as one

An ode to a ‘friend’
Blood-red-thirsty is the rose
that smells so sweet beneath the nose
pricks the finger with all it knows
to drain the life of friends and foes
with age and death it never shows
the blackness which forever grows
by tears (that like the river flows)
inside that blood red thirsty rose
