Sometimes we get what we ask for
sometimes we get just what we need
but everything that comes our way
is like a tiny learning seed
With Hope we search for the answers
and with Love we find a reason
while waiting ’till the time is ripe
to plant it in its proper season
So that the lesson we take to heart
is nurtured [...]

In the stillness of silence stirring
for all the brightest Hope left shone
inside the darkest corners seeping
the hardest lesson beats unknown:
A melody for spirit playing
to trust again the self alone
in harmony with experience
yet not again be turned to stone.

And where are the words
that used to flow so free
that brought Life to life
in the form of poetry
Now the verses writhe
in fields of misery
To dreams, to promises
I leave my destiny
Fate’s unfounded lies
were laced with ecstasy
left me just to taste
what I wanted to see

the lesson here for me
This world only shows
