Lucid are my thoughts of thee
as daylight falls to meet the sea
and shadows lurk, never free,
from the light that all must see.
Would you look, but quickly flee
from the truth that’s only me
living Life as mine should be
(whether/not your words agree).
Bound in chains by my decree,
yet I possess the only key
I think to not turn suddenly
before [...]
