Wandering aimless
around my heart
inside my mind
coming apart
shaking it all off
like a cat in the rain
I’ll bloom once more
and kill the pain.

deeper in
hiding yin
from pain again
far within
fall and spin
no-win-win
where I’ve been
inside my skin
still so thin
can’t begin
too open
to see just when
my chagrin,
falsetto grin,
becomes ruin
palisadin’

Be quiet
deny it
but don’t say a word
I’m broken
unspoken
the things I have heard
Just give me
this moment
to believe the absurd
To be right
yet so wrong
the line is so blurred
As I sit
in the spit
of all that’s occurred
I just want
to know if
I’ll be remembered
