Reaching for a song in silence,
I’ve dreamt it many times,
to follow it through the pits of hell
dancing it’s rhythms and rhymes.
The melody carries me along
whenever I get lost;
I try to harmonize my part
and reverb every cost.
The lyrics flow from high above
and filter through my soul
into the wonderment of Life
to make each lesson whole.

There are just so many words I can say,
before time slips away
and by the end of day,
I am left to wonder…
like the sound of thunder,
have they crashed asunder
or am I piercing through
one heart, one soul-in-two,
is it someone like you?
I may never know the people I touch,
if I have loved too much,
